Welcome to Hopton Bells

Welcome to the web site for the Hopton Bell Ringers. This site was originally created to help with raising funds for the restoration of the bells and tower of All Saints Parish Church Hopton in Suffolk, part of the United Benefice of Stanton, Hopton,Market Weston, Barningham & Coney Weston. Now the fund raising and restoration has been completed, this site will provide information about ringing in Hopton.

Hopton Snow 19

The project restored the bells to a fully ringable state and two bells were added to make a ring of eight. The bells are now all hung in a new steel frame, with a concrete ring beam to strengthen the tower.

Please look around this site and find out about the tower and bells at Hopton.

You can see our blog detailing the work done on the bells by clicking on the progress tab.

We are always keen to have new recruits, so if you would like to learn to ring please contact us or come along to a practice night, you can be sure of a warm welcome. You can read more about bell ringing here at the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers web site.
